The German Pz. Beob. Wg. V Ausf ( Panzerbeobachtungswagen) was a variant of the Panther tank and was designed to be used as an observation post during World War II. It was an armored-observation-vehicle. It was designed for artillery observers assigned to self-propelled batteries to better record the fall of shot and adjust fire effectively. The project was not pursued.
