Because of the concerns of the new fighters of the enemy the German Air Force put out a requirements of the new fighters. The design of Dr. Kurt Tank finally became the Fw 190 which was regarded as one of the best fighters during the WWII at the end of 1930s. The fantastic performance of the Fw 190 soon led the replacement of the Messerschmidt Bf-109. The Fw 190D-10 was based on the airframe of the Fw 190A-10,thls type were powered by a Jumo 213C-1 engine and a Junkers VS-9 three-bladed wooden propeller. The vertical stabilizer were same large one on the Ta 152. The D-10 project was abandoned because of the problems of the new engine in April, 1944.
