Sdkfz.9 is largest half a creeper truck which
Germany used in World War II, developed in 1936 by FAMO Company with F3 type
formally released in 1939. The vehicle
was officially introduced under the designation schwerer Zugkraftwagen 18t (Sd.
Kfz. 9). 250 horsepower of Model HL108TUKRM engine which the car installation
Maybach Company of the Model F3 produced. Originally it was produced to tow Haubitze M1
and 12.8cm Flak 40 but its other uses were quickly realized. It was used as a recovery vehicle for armored
vehicles, towing vehicle, and with a 6t crane.
