HMS Argonaut was a WWII British Royal Navy Dido-class cruiser. She was launched in 1941 and saw service in the Mediterranean. The ship was damaged in December of 1942 and after repairs in the U.S. she returned to the U.K. She then participated in Operation Overlord, the Normandy Landings, and Operation Dragoon. After the war she was laid up and saw no further service until she was scrapped in 1955.
