Israeli Ti-67After the 1967 con flict with Egypt, Israel found themselves in possession of numerous Egyptian T-55 tanks amon gst may of the captured equipment of that con flict. Many were still function al, so Israel converted and upgraded these to the Tiran, in the West it is refereed to as the Ti-67,(Tank Israeli-1967). Of the improvements made were thereplacement of the 100mm main gun to the Western 105mm, engine, transmission, fire control, night vision, rage finder, machine guns, numerous storage boxes and addition al armor will be found, Mainly used today by reserve units and replaced by new er tanks as these become unserviceable.
